During times of disasters, and hardship,  many people are in shock, and are not even capable of doing such things as filling out piles of forms and paperwork. We have experts that are both very capable and sensitive to your circumstances. Our staff insures that you receive all Federal ,State ,and local benefits that are available to you. We will work together with you and all agencies as your personal advocate during your time of need.

LET IT BEGIN WITH ME is not in itself a counseling center. However we can help get people connected with the proper services that they may need. When someone is involved in a disaster many different types of loss can be experienced, such as loss of property, irreplaceable photos, and keepsakes, jobs, the loss of pets, and unfortunately the loss of loved ones. This experience is unimaginable to people that have not experienced such sadness. Our staff however has experience with these issues both in working with victims of disasters and also being victims themselves during Hurricane Katrina and other personal tragedies. We bring to the table a true understanding of exactly what individuals go through during these often unbearable times of sorrow.
